Microsoft CRM Licensing Changes.

 

A series of fundamental CRM licensing changes took effect on 1 October 2019.

 

We’ve summarised the most important changes for you here:

  • All Plans have been retired. Dynamics 365 Plan, Customer Engagement Plan and Unified Operations Plan are no longer available.
  • Individual Customer Engagement applications, e.g. Sales, Customer Services and Field Services, as well as Unified Operations applications such as Supply Chain Management, Finance, Retail and Talent will all continue to be available.
  • The new licensing structure introduces base and attach licences. A single Customer Engagement or Unified Operations base licence can be complemented with a mix of attach licences for additional applications. The most expensive licence is used as the base licence, with additional licences attached to it.
