With device licences being changed to multi-user licences (shared device licensing), users who would like to use Adobe software on a shared device need to create an Adobe ID.
Adobe recommends that schools use a « Federated ID » to do this. While this requires some initial work, as soon as the contacts have been set up in the console (can be done via Excel), all users can log in to the shared devices using the e-mail address created.
As the shared device licences are only available in the VIP Enterprise program, this means you benefit from all the advantages VIP Enterprise has to offer. This includes an onboarding call with Adobe which can be scheduled for a specific time and during which Adobe can help you set up the Federated ID and answer any questions you may have.
